MICHELLE O’REGAN – FOUNDER, DIRECTOR AND CHAIR

A dedicated and community-driven professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in policing and not-for-profit sectors. As a Sergeant of Police and former manager of the Bowen PCYC, Michelle has overseen complex youth engagement programs, community partnerships, HR, finance, and administration operations. Recognised as a regional leader and champion for youth and community wellbeing, Michelle brings strategic, operational, and grassroots experience to every initiative.

Michelle has a proven track record in developing award-winning community programs, driving fundraising efforts, and building lasting relationships across sectors. Michelle is a well known community champion, recipient of the Australia Award, QPS Commissioner Awards, Morki Awards and PCYC Awards. Her passion for social justice and desire to give back to the community and empower others drive the founding of this not for profit charitable organisation and its objectives.

CHRIS MONSOUR – DIRECTOR AND TREASURER

Chris is an independent agricultural scientist with 30 years of experience in agricultural consulting and research. He is a Certified Practicing Agriculturalist (Ag Institute of Australia) with an established reputation in the local, national and international agricultural community. His expertise ranges from integrated pest management, laboratory and field research, implementation of novel agricultural technologies, biosecurity and the development of new cropping industries.

Chris has a solid background in project management, training and extension, and a demonstrated commitment to collaboration with private, government and university bodies on a range of projects from precision agriculture to area-wide integrated pest management. He was a key collaborator in the WORKFit Program developed by the Bowen PCYC and his curriculum development and student engagement drives the success of the organisation’s educational initiatives. His passion for the agricultural industry underpins a commitment to the mentoring of a new generation of agricultural workforce participants.

KERRIE-ANN WILSON – DIRECTOR AND SECRETARY

Kerrie-ann, Director of the organisation, brings over 25 years’ experience in the community services sector, with a strong focus on supporting vulnerable populations and enhancing community connection. She is a registered Psychologist, holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) with distinction, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), providing vital mental health support in regional and rural areas. With more than 15 years in the voluntary sector, Kerrie-ann has successfully led and supported the growth of several not-for-profit organisations. She holds additional qualifications in Volunteer Management, Workplace Rehabilitation, and Training and Assessment.

Kerrie-ann also brings valuable expertise in business management, finance, and administration, supported by university studies in business and human resources. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping the organisation’s core values and driving its mission to improve community connection, wellbeing, and employment skills.
